Boarding Information

Boarding Information

Please read through the following and determine what type of boarding would suit your dog best!

  • We are raw feeding friendly

  • We are aggressive dog and intact dog knowledgeable and friendly

In-Home Boarding (Maidstone location ONLY):

$42/night and $21/night extra for each additional same household dog

What we DO need:

  • We need your dog to be able to tolerate confinement. If we have a client dog here who is in training for various things we need to be able to separate dogs temporarily to gain focus and work safely in our home.

  • We need you to bring your dog's own food - going away can be stressful for some dogs and cause stomach upset, changing food can further cause issues with this so it's best they are eating their own food when with us.

  • We need your dog to be dog and people friendly, with all dogs and people no quirks. We have our own dogs in the house as well as other client dogs, kids, and company visiting. We cannot have any aggression issues unless we have specifically discussed this as a training option.

  • We need your dog to be fed scheduled meals. Since there are other dogs here we cannot have food left out for free feeding because other dogs will inevitably get into it, or guarding issues could occur. Everyone is fed separately and safely at meal times.

  • We especially need your dog to be house trained. We cannot have urine and feces in our home where we live on a more than accidental basis.

  • Up to date rabies vaccine or titer.

  • It is not a petting zoo, you cannot meet the other dogs that are there and we will do the controlled dog greetings later when the energy level has decreased

  • We NEED notice when you are on your way - text or email or facebook message. We need to ensure the yard is safe and everyone is safely put up. There is a charge for those who show up unannounced.

  • Drop off and pick up hours for the Maidstone location: Spring hours (Effective April 1, 2024) are 12 Noon - 7 PM. Notice is still required and the yard will have a locked gate due to too many close calls. This is non negotiable.

    LLOYDMINSTER BOARDING (NOT INHOME)

  • The same criteria apply as in home - COMPLETE human friendliness is necessary as is crate training and dog friendliness.

  • Pricing from $31/1 dog per night and $15.50 for each additional same household dog

  • You can NOT enter the back of the shop due to insurance reasons

  • Drop off and pick up windows for Lloydminster are 7:30-9 AM, 12-1 PM, and 5-6 PM. This is non negotiable.

 What we DON'T need:

We don't need extra kennels, blankets, bowls or toys! We have tons and tons of these and of the type that are easily sanitized! This also helps you have less to haul around and remember, and prevents things from getting lost or wrecked!

Kennel Boarding (Maidstone location):

$32.50/night and $16.50 for each additional dog in the same run

What we DO need:

We need your dog's own food, as again, being away from home can be stressful for them and keeping their diet the same can help them maintain a stable tummy.

We do need your dog's leash and collar. This helps us take them out to potty and for exercise daily.

Up to date rabies vaccine or titer.

This is not a petting zoo. We handle aggressive and reactive dogs so please do not stare in or try touch other people’s animals. This includes going around the sides of the outdoor kennels.

We NEED notice when you are on your way via text, email, or facebook. We need to ensure the yard is safe, and dogs are put up safely. You will incur a financial penalty if you do not give us notice when you are on your way.

 What we DON'T need:

We don't need extra toys, blankets or bowls as we have many many of these of the sanitizable type - again preventing your belongings from getting lost or wrecked, and less to haul around and remember for you!

Included with ALL Boarding:

  • Access to outdoor playpens and exercise daily.

  • Updates to owners, especially on any abnormal behavior or funny occurrences!

  • Regular feeding schedules kept, medications administered and any other extras your dog may need!

    We NEVER:

    • Create unsafe play groups. We are well versed in canine behavior and play, and would never ever put your dog at risk of an injury or fight here.

    • If your dog is not dog friendly, they can play alone that is NO problem for us, as we specialize here in reactivity and aggression and understand fully the challenges and stress this presents to owners.

    • We NEVER charge more on long weekends or holidays, and are, in fact, more likely to create deals and draws to make your vacation less stress, more fun! Check out our Deals page to see what we have upcoming!

    • We NEVER charge extra for medication administration including needles, and difficult to pill dogs. This is part and parcel of owning your dog, and we fully recognize how crucial this is to their quality of life.

We ALWAYS:

  • Let you know if something abnormal is up with your dog!

  • Will discuss with you any changes needed or anything we see differently.

  • Ensure each and every dog is safe, fed and cared for as we would our own animals.

  • Work with you on the most effective drop off times and pick up times as we know convenience matters!

Things to bring:

  • If your dog has a complicated feeding, supplementation and/or medication schedule feel free to bring along an extra paper to explain these things so we make sure we get it correctly done for you 🙂.

  • Food, leash and collar.

  • You're welcome to bring bowls, favorite toys and blankets, but they are not necessary as we have a ton, and we honestly prefer not!

  • Please print off our contract or do the online form - the longer one if you are a new client, and the shorter one if you are returning - and bring with you if you like, but if you're not able to or forget, we have extras on hand here always as well! Don’t forget we need the forms online (emailed or through our website) at LEAST 48 hours prior to drop off.

  • Rabies proof - as well as the contract, you can email, or text pictures of this to us beforehand, or bring it with you!

  • Please come into our yard at a reasonable speed, do NOT drive on our grass, and let us know when you are on your way - prior to your arrival so we can ensure the yard and dogs are safe!

We look forward to serving you and your pooches!
